Bears stands 11 inches tall (sits 8 inches)

black glass eyes

embroidered waxed and sealed nose

6 joints including a double jointed neck

hand-stitched vintage minks from family mink stole and collar

scissor sculpted face

gently hand-painted details

wire armature in arms and legs

paw pads from cashmere/wool coat

stuffing: polyfil and plastic pellets

From the wool/cashmere coat I made a few extras ...
also heirloom memories.

I made two blankets for the teddies to sit on: one side is from the coat lining (one blanket has the coat's monogram), the other side is the wool/cashmere coat. I added the label (I personally love vintage labels), and each blanket has one of the coat's beautiful vintage buttons sewn on a corner.

Well, when I looked a the coat's sleeves I had to turn them into traveling/storage bags for the teddies.

New rabbit for Spring ...

I am pleased to introduce my newest mink rabbit design:

"Heather"

To celebrate the first day of Spring and Easter
I designed a new rabbit pattern.
This is my first prototype rabbit.
I love it!!!
But there may be a few slight changes to future rabbits.
As with all of my patterns, they are always "works in progress" ...
I always think they can be better.
