Even though my "Baby Mink Raccoons" have been one of my most requested creations for many years it has been 3 years since I have offered one for adoption. The last time I made one was in 2010. During that time I have been receiving requests from my collectors to make more. Well, here they are! I have made 6 raccoons to offer to the collectors that are on my "Raccoon Waiting List" ... all who have been patiently waiting for a very long time.

Why did it take me so long to make more? First, I ran out of gray mink and had to find some good vintage gray mink. Then it was a matter of finding time in my work schedule as I have been receiving more and more requests about my "Custom Teddy from your Mink" service. And now that I have finally made more raccoons I now remember that creating these little creatures is not easy... and I have made it even more complicated by re-designing the tail. My raccoon pattern is now 43 pieces !!! So making each raccoon is like putting together a three-dimensional puzzle.

Features of each Baby Mink Raccoon:

hand stitched vintage gray, white, and black minks

4 inches (sitting)

4 inch long hand painted tail

5 inches standing

black glass eyes

7 joints, including a double jointed neck & tail

embroidered, waxed, and sealed nose

leather paw pads and feet

wire armature in arms, legs, and tail

gently hand painted details

will arrive wearing a handcrafted glass necklace (removable)
