Custom Heirloom Teddy

Custom Heirloom Teddy Bear for Barbara

(created from her family heirloom fur stole)

Barbara's real fur stole was not a ranch mink, the fur

that I traditional use for my teddies, but this was a much

softer fur yet still one that I knew I could scissor sculpt

to create a sweet face. I adjusted my pattern just a little

and I am so happy that I did because I think that this 

teddy's face is just irresistibly charming !!!

Features of this Custom Teddy:

• Hand-stitched vintage real fur (from a brown fur stole)
• paw pads from lining of fur stole
• Glass eyes
• Embroidered, waxed, and sealed nose
• Wire armature in limbs for gentle posing
• 6 joints included a double jointed neck (for a charming head tilt)
• Gently hand painted details
• Stands 10 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches sitting
